Recorded in the bedroom during the "Blizzard of '93" which brought most of the mid-Atlantic US to a screeching halt, "Sour Nothings" is a massive song cycle about lost love. Every track is a well-written "hit", but merely an afterthought to the emotion on display. Murray ditches the electronics on this release in favor of good old guitar and bass arrangements.
